WWE Smackdown Results: Solo Sikoa Beats Jimmy Uso as Bloodline War Heats Up; Tensions Rise Between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens
After six months, Jimmy Uso made his return to Smackdown as the crowd lit up with a loud pop as his entrance music hit at the start of the show. After making his way to the ring, his promo segment began with him mentioning how he was put on a shelf by Solo Sikoa during his time out of action and questioned the latter’s guts to not do it right on his face but rather behind his group, Solo’s Bloodline. Speaking about his match against Sikoa, later on in the show, Jimmy revealed his intentions of to Sikoa of putting the latter in his place, after which, Roman Reigns made his way to the ring.
Interestingly, Reigns showed his supportive side to Jimmy where he understood the latter’s motive to punish Sikoa. But the former world champion, making a cheeky reference to Paul Heyman, does not see himself as ‘The Wise Man’, who comes up with the devious plans. While the OTC needs help to take down Solo’s Bloodline, Jimmy explains that he knows someone who can help them get the job done but does not reveal the name of the person, as he makes his way out of the ring with Reigns gives a confused look at Jimmy.
LA Knight (C) vs Carmelo Hayes for the WWE United States Championship
The first match of the show was a title-bout with LA Knight taking on Camelo Hayes. The two men seemed to go at it with both men looking to establish control. As the both of them made their way around the announcer’s table, the camera panned towards Andrade who was standing by the timekeeper area, indicating a possible interference to cost Knight the title.
As the match headed to the final stages, the champion built up momentum and was eyeing for the finisher. But Hayes managed to counter and then deliver a scissor kick to turn the tides. After a series of reversals, Knight went to the top rope to deliver a flying elbow drop, after which he went for the pin. But Hayes was kicked out, however, his resilience was short-lived as Knight delivered the BFT to get the three-count and retain the title.
Cody Rhodes and Jimmy Uso Meet
Following the US title match, the cameras cut to a backstage segment where Jimmy Uso came face-to-face with the former enemy, Cody Rhodes. The latter thanks Jimmy for his assistance on Saturday. Jimmy on the other hand told Rhodes to not expect more and to handle his work from then on as the two had a respectful demeanour to each other.
Just as Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend made their entrance for their main roster debut match, the pair was interrupted by Kevin Owens who began by apologizing and then making his way to the ring. Security then made their way to the ring while Owens looked to explain himself why he decided to turn on Cody Rhodes. As he looked to continue his promo, his mic was cut off. As a result, Owens made his way to the commentators where he took the headphones of Corey Greaves. As Owens began speaking, Rhodes made his way to the ring looking to confront Owens. Security looked to keep the two men away from each other and Randy Orton entered in an attempt to pacify the situation by talking to both men. Orton however lost his cool after Owens struck an elbow to him but managed to control himself after hitting KO and then the three men looked to go their separate ways.

Just before the Women’s tag champions made their way to the ring, Trick Williams was seen in attendance while the likes of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were at ringside.
Once the bell rang, both the challengers caught the champions off-guard by striking them immediately to gain momentum initially. The challengers made the tag to get them well in front as Belair seemed to struggle. As the match went towards the announcer’s table, Belair managed to counter and run inside to make the tag to Cargill. Naomi showcases her flashy moves as she attempts to dodge several of Nia Jax’s attacking moves. With the likes of Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez at ringside along with Tiffany Stratton, Jax continued to dominate but Naomi stayed resilient by attempting to counter with a super kick. Jax however looks to roll out of the ring. As the match makes its way outside the ring, Jax is able to deliver a Samoan drop on the floor as both champions make eye contact.
With the match coming back inside, Naomi finds some momentum as she delivers a frog splash and goes for the pin. However, the champion kicked out. Naomi delivers the disaster kick and then a crossbody outside the ring onto Jax.
With the referee distracted, Stratton strikes Naomi with the Money in the Bank briefcase but Rodriguez puts a stop to the distraction. Jax finds her momentum again as she climbs to the second rope, but now Rodriguez delivers a distraction of her own as Liv Morgan strikes Jax with the briefcase and Naomi goes for the powerbomb and gets the win.

The main event is underway as Jimmy Uso looks around at the crowd in his first match since his return. Jimmy looks to take charge but Solo seems to be dominant at the start of the match. Nonetheless, Jimmy looked to keep going and managed to get some momentum on his side. Just as he looked to go for the frog splash, a referee distraction meant Jacob Fatu disrupted the move and Sikoa delivered the killer Samoan Spike to get the win.
The Bloodline went on to attack Jimmy Uso after the match. But Roman Reigns made his entrance, delivered a Superman punch right off the bat and proceeded to clear out the ring. With just Solo Sikoa left the two men proceeded to stare each other down but ended up being outnumbered. Sikoa ended up delivering the Samoan spike to Reigns as the segment came to an end.
