Belgian authorities announced that they are investigating possible war crimes by a Belgian-Israeli soldier fighting for Israel in Gaza. The federal prosecutor’s office said the investigation targets a Belgian member of an elite Israeli military unit with several dual passport holders. “We have opened a file on possible war crimes,” AFP reported citing a spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office. The unnamed suspect is reportedly a man in his 20s from Uccle, an affluent suburb of Brussels. Meanwhile, the IDF released a footage of a tank firing at the home where Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was hiding on October 16.
