Arteta has revolutionised the Gunners in his time in charge of the club he also played for before calling time on his career as he has ensured that the Londoners have been involved in the title race over the past couple of years.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta brought up five years as manager of the Premier League side on Friday and remarked that the best was yet to come as the London side go in search of their first PL crown since 2004.
Arteta has revolutionised the Gunners in his time in charge of the club he also played for before calling time on his career as he has ensured that the Londoners have been involved in the title race over the past couple of years.
“It’s gone really fast and I’m really grateful to be in the position that I’m in right now,” the Spaniard said.
“I have a lot to learn, a lot to improve and the best is yet to come,” he added.

Arteta has built a strong team at Arsenal since he took over on December 20 2019, and has an FA Cup title to show for his efforts in addition to two FA Community Shield wins.
“From my point of view, the unity, the connection and the fact that we are competing on big fronts right now,” he said.
“We haven’t managed to do that in the past few years. That’s positive but there’s still a lot to do,” the 42-year-old said.
Arteta came close to ending Arsenal’s Premier League title drought as he finished second twice on the bounce only behind champions Manchester City in the past two years and the Spaniard will look to breach the threshold and help the Londoners clinch the crown in the near future.
“Looking back it’s gone so, so fast,” he added.
“I enjoyed every minute of it when there were bumps in the road and when we had good moments and that’s about it,” he added.

He elaborated on the drive and passion to helm the club and urged his players to make the leap as the Gunners go in search of English top-flight glory.
“I’m here because I’m so passionate about what I do and I love this football club and I want the best of that, so I just try to give my best version every single day,” Arteta said.
“We’ve built something together and so many people have contributed in a big way to achieve that and the fact that everybody is hungry and ambitious. But now we have to go to another level,” he signed off.
