The movie, which also features Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri in key roles, had a strong opening weekend at the box office.
Vicky Kaushal took to his social media and posted a video that showcased his visit to the screening of his film ‘Bad Newz’ on Saturday night at a cinema hall in Mumbai.The actor looked dapper as he was seen dressed in a white kurta. He thanked everyone who came to the late-night show despite the intense rain in Mumbai. Vicky joined the audience in singing ‘Tauba Tauba’, the end-credit song that went viral, as it played on the big screen. Many fans took pictures and videos of the moment on their phones.
Vicky humorously acknowledges in the video that it’s getting late and that it might be time for him to go. But he says in jest that he would stay till 4 AM to oblige those who ask for selfies. A heartfelt moment occurs when an elderly audience member asks for a selfie, and Vicky responds with a warm hug before posing for the picture. He captioned the post with his thoughts on the amazing evening.

According to the film’s makers on Sunday, ‘Bad Newz’, which stars Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has made an impressive mark at the domestic box office, collecting ₹19.17 crore in its first two days of release. In addition to its main cast, the film also stars Neha Dhupia in a significant role.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film opened nationwide on Friday. It had a great start, earning ₹8.62 crore on its first day. This was followed by a significant rise to ₹10.55 crore on its second day, demonstrating the film’s growing popularity among audiences.
