Ukraine said its troops were “moving further” into Russia following their August 6 incursion into the Kursk region. Ukrainian troops took more than 100 Russian soldiers prisoner, the commander of the Ukrainian military, Oleksandr Syrskyi said.Ukraine’s state television aired a report showing troops pulling down a Russian flag from an official building in the town of Sudzha. A state TV correspondent in the town said Ukrainian forces were in full control of Sudzha, a key gas transhipment hub located in the Kursk region.Russian defence ministry released footage of what it said is combat work of Sukhoi Su-25 fighter jet in Kursk region.
