Tirupati: TTD to issue 1.2 lakh free darshan tickets for first 3 days of Vaikunta Ekadasi festival on January 9 | Vijayawada News
TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will issue 1.2 lakh Sarvadarshan (free darshan) tickets pertaining to the first three days of the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival to the devotees on January 9.
The Vaikunta Ekadasi festival is set to be celebrated for 10 days from Jan 10-19.
While 1.2 lakh Sarvadarshan tokens pertaining to Jan 10-12 (three days) will be issued to the devotees from 5 am on Jan 9, devotees can avail the free darshan tokens pertaining to the remaining 7 days of the festival by arriving at the ticket counters one day in advance.
TTD has set up about 87 ticket counters at 8 centres at Tirumala and Tirupati for the convenience of the devotees.
These centres are located at Ramachandra Pushkarini, Bhudevi complex, Jeevakona high school, Indira municipal grounds, Ramanaidu school at Bairagipatteda, Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam and at MR Palli.
Devotees approaching the TTD ticket counters will be issued Sarvadarshan tokens on a first come first serve basis.
TTD EO J Syamala Rao, additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdary, Tirupati district collector Dr S Venkateshwar, SP L Subba Rayudu and CVSO S Sreedhar inspected the arrangements at the TTD ticket counters in Tirupati on Wednesday.
