Tirupati MP asks TDP govt not to victimise TTD employees for political reasons | Amaravati News
TIRUPATI: Tirupati MP M Gurumoorthy urged the TDP led NDA govt to not victimise the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams employees in the garb of an ongoing vigilance and enforcement enquiry at the Devasthanams.
“After conducting enquiry into various activities at the TTD for more than a month now, more than 50 employees were given show cause notices even though no serious irregularities were reportedly unearthed during the ongoing enquiry”, Gurumoorthy observed.
Accusing the TDP govt of targeting the Devasthanams employees in its vindictive efforts to defame the YSRCP, the YSRCP MP advised the govt to focus it’s attention on rendering the best of pilgrim services to the multitude of devotees visiting Tirumala from across the globe.
“TTD has grown into a world-class spiritual organisation because of the committed efforts of its employees. And if the same employees are targeted for political reasons, the YSRCP will extend solidarity to the employees to safeguard them at all times”, Gurumoorthy asserted.
