‘Stree 2’ box office collection day 22: The Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer enters crosses Rs 500 crore net in India!

Stree 2′ has come a long way indeed and proved to be a hit that the industry very much needed. The film is quite high on the elements of entertainment and comedy with a dose of horror and getting immense love from the audience. Infact, the characters in the movie have now become a part of the pop culture and the dialogues quite famous. ‘Stree2’ had bumper opening on day 1 as it made Rs54 crore which also included paid previews.Since then, the numbers have been swiftly growing.
The film is now in its week 3 and after a mind-blowing third weekend, it started seeing a drop from Monday onwards as it made in the range of Rs 5-6 crore on each day till now. On thursday, which is day 22, ‘Stree 2’ made Rs 5 crore. Thus, it has now finally crossed the Rs 500 crore mark. The total collection of the movie so far in India is Rs 502.90 crore.
‘Stree 2’ has a huge chance to see a jump in numbers over the weekend with no other big Bollywood movie releasing due to the delay in ‘Emergency’. The Kangana Ranaut starrer was supposed to release today but the film has now been delayed due to certification issues with the CBFC.
This gives the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer an open canvas even in its third weekend. However, Thalapathy Vijay‘s film ‘GOAT‘ which released on Thursday, is also having huge popularity, all over India and not just the south areas. Hence, this film may be dominating over the weekend.
