Stree 2 box office collection day 15: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film becomes an all-time blockbuster, beats Gadar 2, Animal, Jawan records

Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has emerged as an all-time blockbuster, continuing its impressive performance at the box office. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, with special cameos by Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan. The movie has maintained strong momentum in its second week, surpassing the previous box office records of Sunny Deol‘s Gadar 2, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 is expected to earn Rs 8.25 crore on Thursday, concluding its second week with a total box office collection of Rs 432.80 crore over 15 days.
In its second week alone, Stree 2 brought in Rs 141.15 crore, following a powerful first week that saw earnings of Rs 291.65 crore. This impressive run broke the records of Gadar 2 (Rs 134.47 crore), Animal (Rs 130.73 crore), and Jawan (Rs 125.46 crore) in their respective second weeks. However, Stree 2 fell just short of surpassing Baahubali: The Conclusion, which earned Rs 143.25 crore, maintaining its position in the top 5 highest second-week collections of all time.

While the original Stree focused on a female ghost wronged in her mortal life, the sequel introduces a new villain, Sarkata, who has a mysterious connection to the titular character. Stree 2 is part of Maddock Films’ ambitious horror-comedy universe, which also includes films like Bhediya and Munjya.
