SSC MTS 2024 Exam Date Notice
The Commission announced that the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024, will be held from September 30, 2024, to November 14, 2024.Candidates were advised to regularly check the Commission’s website for further updates.
The official notice reads“The Commission has decided to conduct the Multi-Tasking (NonTechnical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024 from 30 September, 2024 to 14 November, 2024. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.”

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Date: Selection Process
Eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted through a three-stage process. To advance, candidates must meet cut-off marks at each stage. The selection process stages are as follows:
- Stage 1: Paper-1 (Objective)
- Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) (applicable only for the Havaldar post)

SSC MTS 2024 Salary Details
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive examination to recruit Multi-Tasking Staff for various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India across different States and Union Territories. These positions fall under Pay Band-1 (INR 5200-20200) with a Grade Pay of INR 1800, which corresponds to Level-1 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
The in-hand SSC MTS salary, based on the 7th CPC, ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 per month, depending on the specific job post and the city of assignment.
