Known for his versatility, Khan took on a new challenge by playing an action hero in ‘Jawan.’ The film was a hit, with fans and showed that SRK can succeed in any role. Recently, Khan shared that playing an action hero and getting six-pack abs was a dream he had since he started his career.
In a recent conversation with The Guardian, Shah Rukh Khan enthusiastically discussed his role as an action hero in Jawan.When asked if he could fully commit to an action role like Tom Cruise, SRK revealed, “When I came into the industry I was an athlete. My life’s dream was to have a six-pack, wear a white vest, have a lady with my arm around her, blood on my face and a gun in my hand. My dream was to enter a room, someone says: ‘Who are you?’ and I shoot them”.
SRK reflected on his activities during the pandemic, mentioning that with limited options, he encouraged people to take up Italian cooking and exercise. He shared that he followed his own advice, working out regularly to build his physique. The Jawan actor also revealed that he typically “eats only one meal a day,” a personal choice unrelated to intermittent fasting, and dedicates about half an hour each day to the gym.
During the pandemic, SRK reflected on how he kept busy with limited options available. He mentioned encouraging people to try Italian cooking and exercise, and he followed his own advice by working out regularly to stay fit. SRK shared his unusual daily routine, explaining that he typically goes to sleep around 5 am. He joked that while Mark Wahlberg is just starting his day, he’s heading to bed. If he’s shooting, he wakes up around 9 or 10 am, and after returning home at 2 am, he takes a bath and works out before finally going to sleep.
Looking ahead to his upcoming projects, SRK is set to star in King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film features his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. King is a dynamic action thriller that follows the journey of a mentor and his disciple as they face numerous survival challenges.
