Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accusers’ attorney Tony Buzbee gets accused of giving STI to a woman; claims it is a smear campaign by Jay-Z |
Amid Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s legal drama, the other side also seems to be facing a lot of heat recently. Tony Buzbee, the high-profile attorney who has been handling multiple lawsuits against Diddy is facing some accusations filed by a Jane Doe.
Reports suggest that a lawsuit filed in the New York Supreme Court against Tony alleges that he has infected a woman with a venereal disease. Amid these accusations, Buzbee has hit back at Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation, stating that the lawsuit is nothing but an attempt to discredit him.
According to the reports, the plaintiff has accused Tony of manipulating and exploiting her. Reportedly, it all started in 2018 after an online connection. TMZ states that the woman claims that the high-profile attorney pursued her romantically. He invited her to Houston for a dinner date and a show, after which he booked a room at a luxury hotel and convinced the plaintiff to stay. They spent the night together and indulged in sexual activity, following which the woman got infected with an STI. Reportedly, Tony was aware of the sexually transmitted disease and the risk involved when he spent time with the woman but he chose to keep it a secret.
The lawsuit further states, that after returning home, the woman started feeling discomfort in her private parts, and thus, she sought medical assistance. That is when she was informed about the condition, which happened after her sexual encounter with Buzbee. She then immediately contacted Tony who though apologised, wasn’t seemingly surprised as if he already knew he had the infection.
The woman claims Tony requested her to keep the matter a secret and in return, he would give her free legal advice. The lawsuit also has claims of physical violence including Buzbee pushing a champagne flute into her face. The plaintiff has dental and medical records to support her claims.
Tony Buzbee believes this case is nothing but a frivolous claim and an attempt by Jay-Z’s entertainment firm to hurt his image. “This latest case, like the others, is frivolous, laughable, and ridiculous and will be dismissed along like the others. It now seems that every other day there is another false claim filed, all of which are being ginned up by individuals working on behalf of or in concert with Roc Nation,” said Tony according to a Hindustan Times report.
