In a bizarre and unusual incident, a motorcyclist dressed as Santa Claus led police on a high-speed chase in Florida’s Sunshine State on Saturday.

The chase unfolded when a motorcyclist dressed as Santa Claus was cruising through Beverly Hills when a highway patrol officer spotted him recklessly driving in traffic, reaching a high speed of 120 miles per hour. Upon attempting to pull the biker over, the officer was met with resistance as the motorcyclist refused to slow down, prompting a pursuit.

As the chase continued, the motorcyclist changed lanes multiple times in a bid to evade capture, even cutting through a gas station before returning to the main road. The officer continued to follow, but the motorcyclist disappeared from sight, according to the thrilling clip.

“The sleigh must be in the shop, but last night Mr. Claus didn’t pause for any cause. Anyone that recognizes ol’ St. Nick please feel free to call *FHP (*347) and let us know!” the Florida Highway Patrol -Tampa wrote on X, sharing the dashcam footage.
