Salman Khan resumed his hosting duties after skipping it the previous week.
With each passing week, Bigg Boss 18 is getting more interesting. From non-stop drama, edge-of-the-seat twists and turns and intense fights in the house, Colors TV’s popular reality show gives the viewers ample entertainment. Last week, filmmaker Farah Khan hosted the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. This week, the iconic host of the show, Salman Khan, has resumed his role.
In the latest promo shared by the channel on its Instagram account on Saturday, December 14, the Dabangg actor rebuked Vivian Dsena for not confronting his fellow housemates. While the Sirf Tum actor’s fans love his performance in the show, the host isn’t very impressed. In the clip, Salman Khan also highlighted that the Madhubala actor never had “genuine issues” in the house and is somewhat lost among the other contestants.
At the beginning of the promo video, Salman says, “Vivian aapke iss ghar mein koi actual mudde kabhi the hi nahi. Aapka ek hi mudda hai, Vivian ki coffee (Vivian, you never had actual issues in the house. You just have one original issue, which is Vivian’s coffee).” As the clip played further, the host highlighted that “hero Vivian” doesn’t appear as a “hero” in the house and added that audience felt there was no need of the actor in the Bigg Boss house.
While the promo video did not show how Vivian reacted to Salman Khan’s statements, his friends, actors Karan Veer Mehra and Shilpa Shirodkar, were visibly taken aback by the host’s opinions.
In last week’s Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Farah Khan pointed out Vivian Dsena struggled to make the right decisions in the house. She also called him “double-faced” for enjoying his victory after defeating his friend, Karan, in a task. Farah questioned Vivian’s loyalty, asking, “When it comes to Karan, you start going wrong.” The actor then tried to justify his stance, highlighting that he had his reasons. But the filmmaker wasn’t convinced and called him “dogla or double-faced.”
Vivian then explained, “I would like to say one thing when it comes to being double-faced, I appreciated him, and he knows that I appreciated him genuinely. And when I went outside and celebrated with my team, that was my celebration, my happiness, because our team succeeded.”
For the uninitiated, Bigg Boss 18 makers have introduced a new theme for the show. This time, the show is following the ‘Time ka Taandav’ theme, promising the viewers unexpected twists and turns.
