Nick Jonas calls Priyanka Chopra his ‘world-class’ scene partner while preparing for roles: ‘It is kind of weird but also wonderful’ | English Movie News

Nick Jonas doesn’t need much help when it comes to preparing for his acting roles, he has his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, by his side. The Jonas Brothers singer, who stars in the new film The Good Half, shared in an interview with E! News that Priyanka, an accomplished actress herself, is his go-to scene partner at home.
“I’ve got a pretty good scene partner at home,” Nick said, referring to Priyanka.”By pretty good, I mean like, world class, so that’s always nice.”
Nick, 31, and Priyanka, 42, often help each other by filming audition tapes together, with Nick admitting that while it might feel a bit unusual, it’s also wonderful. However, they don’t always rehearse lines together. Instead, they discuss characters and ideas, keeping their creativity alive at home, which they can then bring into their professional workspaces.

Priyanka, who shares a daughter Malti Marie with Nick, is his biggest supporter. After attending the premiere of The Good Half in Los Angeles on August 13, she took to Instagram to praise his performance. “Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful poignant, touching movie with incredible performances. I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one,” she wrote.
Nick has also shown his support for Priyanka’s projects, including her recently completed pirate-themed film with Karl Urban. Priyanka celebrated the film’s wrap on Instagram on August 10 with a family selfie, captioned, “It’s a picture wrap on The Bluff!!! … and to do it with my family by my side and the incredible people that made this movie possible is such a privilege.” Nick responded with a simple but heartfelt, “Blown away by you,” accompanied by a red heart emoji.

The Good Half, featuring David Arquette, Brittany Snow, Alexandra Shipp, and Elisabeth Shue, is now showing in theaters.
