Manu has now once again gone viral on social media and this time it is because of her hitherto unknown off-the-field skills.
In a now-viral video on X (formerly Twitter), Manu can be seen shaking a leg to Kala Chashma. The incident took place during a felicitation event held in Chennai yesterday. Manu was seen dancing along with some school kids. Wearing a white printed t-shirt, Manu was spotted enjoying a fun time along with the young ones.
A video of Manu Bhaker’s supercool dance moves has now gone viral on social media. Reacting to the video, one social media user commented, “Manu Bhaker- New Sensation of India!”
Manu Bhaker made her games debut in Tokyo three years back. In Paris this year, Manu came up with a splendid series of performances as she became the first Indian athlete, in the post-Independence era, to claim two medals in a single edition of the Olympics. She achieved this sensational feat just at the age of 22. The young Indian athlete recently urged students to try to make a career out of sports.
“To achieve the goal, we must put in a lot of hard work and effort. It doesn’t always start with aiming for something big, you also have to work to achieve it. If you can dream big, you can achieve big. So, always start by dreaming big. I always tell myself that no matter if I win or lose in any competition, I’ll always be very confident and hold myself high and together, and be very confident,” Manu Bhaker was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
“We have many career options. You don’t have to become a doctor or an engineer. Sports life is a beautiful life. From financial support to any kind of it, you get everything in sports,” she added.
Manu Bhaker bagged a bronze medal each in the women’s 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Paris Olympics. In the 10m air pistol mixed team event, she paired up with India’s Sarabjot Singh.
