Modi Russia Visit LIVE: PM Set To Embark On Key Moscow Visit For India-Russia Summit Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Moscow today at the invitation of President Putin for the 22nd India-Russia summit scheduled on July 8 and 9.
This marks PM Modi’s first trip to Russia in nearly five years and notably his first since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
The annual summit between the Indian Prime Minister and the Russian President serves as the highest institutional dialogue mechanism in their strategic partnership, with 21 previous summits alternating between India and Russia. The last summit took place on December 6, 2021, in New Delhi, during Russian President Putin’s visit to India.
During the upcoming summit, the two leaders will review the broad spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on contemporary regional and global issues of mutual interest, as confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi on Thursday.
