Petitions to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), other UN organisations and government ministries such as external affairs and home to support persecuted Bangladeshi Hindus have been the focal point in the first two days of the Samanvaya Baithak of the RSS.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has directed all affiliates and inspired organisations to assist Bangladeshi Hindus in every way possible, News18 has learnt.

The organisations will submit petitions to the government and international organisations, while building more global support in favour of the Hindus and putting pressure on the interim government to secure the community in the neighbouring country. The organisations have also been asked to initiate signature campaigns, while some affiliates like Pragya Pravah have already collected over a lakh signatures, and there will be more such campaigns, sources in the RSS ranks said.

Additionally, the RSS seniors also discussed and deliberated upon the ‘concerted effort to divide’ Hindus on caste lines. There are ‘divisive forces’ that promote caste-based biases and all RSS organisations have to find ways to counter such divisive campaigns. This includes expanding organisational outreach by all affiliated and inspired groups to strengthen ties with SC, ST, OBC, and Dalit communities with the aim of defeating castiest agendas, the organisations were told.

Absence of electoral-political discourse

In the recent discussions, there was absence of political discourse as such, a senior source in the RSS added. BJP president JP Nadda’s presentation, delivered on Sunday, was focused on organisational matters, providing detailed reports rather than engaging in electoral discussions. The election results had already been deliberated upon in Ranchi and hence were not brought up during the coordination meeting, News18 has learnt.

The RSS chief, along with senior functionaries, emphasised the critical importance of maintaining absolute cohesion among all organisations. This unity is seen as essential for the collective strength and effectiveness of their efforts.
