Mike Tyson Slaps Jake Paul

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul at their final weigh-in before the heavyweight fight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The incident happened when Paul tried to provoke Tyson by getting too close, and the 58-year-old boxing icon responded with a quick slap. Both fighters’ teams stepped in right away to keep things from getting worse, separating the two before the confrontation could escalate.

After the incident, security swiftly stepped in to separate the two fighters, and Tyson was quickly escorted off the stage.

Tyson, weighing in at 228.4 pounds, stepped onto the scales wearing only Versace briefs. He said very little before leaving, stating only, “Talking’s over,” before exiting with his entourage.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul, the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer, claimed Tyson’s slap hadn’t fazed him, even though it shocked the audience. “I didn’t even feel it — he’s angry. He’s an angry little elf…cute slap, buddy,” Paul quipped after weighing in at 227.2 pounds.

Paul then made a profanity-filled promise to knock Tyson out, ending with a dramatic shout into the microphone: “He must die.”

For Friday’s officially sanctioned bout in Texas, Tyson is reportedly earning $20 million. The fight, which consists of eight two-minute rounds, is being streamed live on Netflix.

The upcoming match has stirred debate within the boxing community. Many prominent voices in the sport question the idea of Tyson, a legend who debuted professionally nearly 40 years ago and had his last official fight 19 years ago, returning to the ring.
