‘Marco’ box office collections day 4: Unni Mukundan starrer crosses Rs 18 crores | Malayalam Movie News
Unni Mukundan’s ‘Marco’ has surely caught the attention of film lovers and general audiences. Now the movie has crossed Rs 18 crores at the Indian box office.
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Marco’ has minted Rs 18.15 crores from India in 4 days, and on day 4, Monday, the movie has made Rs 4 crores as per the early estimates by the website.
The Unni Mukundan starrer had an overall 55.81 Malayalam occupancy on day 4, Monday with morning shows at 43.96 percent, afternoon shows at 54.62 percent, evening shows at 55.82 percent, and night shows at 68.85 percent.
Following the success of ‘Marco’, the makers unveiled the movie’s action teaser on the last day. Along with Unni Mukundan, Bollywood actor Kabir Duhan Singh’s performance is getting much praise from the audience.
As the film was promoted to be the most violent film ever made in Mollywood, the filmmakers have surely paid justice to what they promised and the second half of the film is surely the peak of brutality that anyone can watch on screen.
‘Marco’ is a spin-off of the villain character from the Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Mikhael’. Even though it’s not sure whether both the films fall under the same universe, there are references to the Nivin Pauly starrer in ‘Marco’.
Directed by Haneef Adeni, the cinematography of ‘Marco’ is by Chandru Selvaraj and the editing section is handled by Shameer Muhammed. The music is composed by the ‘KGF’ fame Ravi Basrur and is getting good responses from the audiences.
Overall, ‘Marco’ is surely a winner, both in terms of box office collections and also for impressing the audiences by providing them what the makers promised.
