Shilpa Shinde wasn’t impressed with Abhishek Kumar’s performance and said it was sheer luck that he managed to complete the stunt.
Abhishek Kumar is one of the strongest contestants on Rohit Shetty’s hosted reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actor is currently receiving a lot of praise from viewers for completing a daring water stunt despite his claustrophobia. However, co-contestant Shilpa Shinde wasn’t impressed with his performance and said it was sheer luck that he managed to complete the stunt. This has now led to a war of words between the two, with Abhishek posting a tweet that seems to be a direct dig at the actress.
Abhishek Kumar wrote on platform X, “Khatron mein kaafi time chup tha, par jab koi sir pe chadhta hai fir chup bhi karwaana aata hai” (I had been silent for a long time in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, but when someone crosses the line, I know how to make them quiet as well).

For those who missed the intense episode, Abhishek Kumar tackled a gruelling stunt where he was suspended upside down in a glass box filled with water and snakes. He was tasked with retrieving coins from the bottom. Despite his initial fear of water, Abhishek managed to complete the stunt.
However, Shilpa Shinde, who struggled with the same stunt, commented that Abhishek’s success was due to luck rather than skill. She told Rohit Shetty, “Sir iski kismat acchi hai, tukka lag gaya iska (Sir, this is all about luck. He just got lucky).”
The ongoing feud was further highlighted in a recent promo released by the makers on Colors TV. The promo begins with Rohit Shetty asking the contestants who they think is the weakest among them. Shilpa Shinde names Abhishek Kumar, prompting Abhishek to respond, “I think I perform well.” Shilpa interrupts, saying, “Acha tera perform ho jaata hai (It just turns out well).” This exchange escalates into a heated argument in front of everyone and Abhishek tells Shilpa, “I still manage to perform, but you can’t even do it.” The clip ends with Abhishek pointing out that he hadn’t been eliminated even once from the show, while Shilpa has been eliminated twice.
