Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ is considered one of the classic films ever made in Hindi cinema. The film, which starred Renuka Shahane, Madhuri Dixit, Mohnish Bahl, and Salman Khan in the lead roles, was released in 1994. It also featured Alok Nath, Reema Lagoo, and Anupam Kher in significant roles. On August 5, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ completed three decades of its release.Anupam reflected on his memories of working with the HAHK team on social media.
Anupam Kher took to his Instagram and shared a video featuring behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ One of the pictures showcases the iconic frame of the star cast with Anupam in the centre. He is seen in another picture with co-stars Madhuri, Renuka Shahane, and Alok Nath, as well as director Sooraj. Along with the post, he wrote, “30 years of Hum Aapke Hain Koun!”

His post made fans go gaga as they reacted in the comments section and celebrated the occasion. While a fan wrote, “One of favourite movie,” another commented, “Unforgettable cinematic.” A netizen wrote, “Congratulations sir… Maine ye movie bahut dekhi or aj dekhti hoo..” A user congratulated him and wrote, “Old memories alwz remain vd us (sic).” A fan shared, “Very very nice movie.” Another commented, “One of the best movie of Bollywood (sic).”
For the unversed, Anupam Kher suffered facial paralysis while shooting ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’. Nevertheless, the veteran actor managed to shoot the Antakshri sequence. He revealed during an episode of ‘Aap Ki Adalat that his co-stars Madhuri and Salman thought he was “doing comedy by making a face”’. The HAHK actor added that he later disclosed his health issue to his co-stars.
On the work front, Anupam Kher was last seen in the children’s fantasy film ‘Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan’. He will be next seen in ‘The Signature’ and ‘Vijay 69’.
