HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Polo and Riding Club (HPRC) is set to launch a state-of-the-art silver spur athletic arena at its premises at Aziz Nagar on Saturday.
The new facility will have disciplines like indoor and outdoor sports catering to both professional and amateur budding players in badminton, squash, swimming, tennis, basketball and futsal. The arena will also have a fully-equipped gymnasium.
The new facilities will include indoor badminton courts with state-of-the-art lighting and flooring systems, indoor squash courts with professional-grade equipment and non-marking surfaces, half-Olympic six-lane swimming with cutting-edge water filtration systems for both recreational and competitive training, gym, tennis courts with international 60/120 feet standards, nine-layer synthetic outdoor courts with floodlights, a basketball court and a specially designed space for futsal, featuring top-notch playing field and floodlights for evening matches.
