Filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar, who collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’, recently talked about his experience working with the superstar. He praised Shah Rukh for his effortless yet diligent work on his movies. He also examined the factors that contributed to SRK’s fame and the reasons behind its longevity.
During a conversation with Raj Shamani, Farhan discussed SRK’s knowledge and was all praises for the actor.He shared, “He is exceptionally charming and knowledgable. He reads a lot. He can talk about any topic and he will have his point of view on that. He is a good listener. He is well read and he is also interested in people. He is curious, adventurous. He likes to have a nice time and he doesn’t like the weight of things too much. He is fun guy to hang around.”
Farhan also talked about SRK’s stardom and said that he is magnetic and it is both on and off the screen. The actor-filmmaker said, “There is this inherent charm he has that is magnetic and it is both on and off the screen. He is easy, it doesn’t feel laboured and that ease makes you feel comfortable. He works really hard and that has kept him where he is. I have met many people who love what they do. I have worked with Aamir Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka loves her work but with Shah Rukh Khan he gets obsessed with the project he is doing and as a director that motivates me.”
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra played the lead in ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’. The box office performance of both movies was favourable.
On the work front, Farhan is currently working on ‘Don 3’, which will star Ranveer Singh in the lead role.
