Delnaaz Irani, who was a part of ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho‘, recently shared her experience filming the movie’s emotional climax, where Shah Rukh Khan‘s character faces his tragic fate. She recalled the intensity of the scene, highlighting how it left a lasting impact on everyone involved, both on and off-screen, given its raw and heart-wrenching portrayal.
In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Delnaaz reflected on the significance of the Kal Ho Naa Ho climax, where Aman, played by Shah Rukh Khan, dies. She shared that although she had a conflicting TV shoot, her director emphasized the importance of her role in this pivotal scene. Delnaaz managed to rearrange her schedule to be present for the emotionally charged sequence, underscoring her commitment to the film’s impactful moment.

Delnaaz shared how grateful she was to be part of Aman’s emotional death scene in Kal Ho Naa Ho, describing it as essential to the film’s impact. She recalled the atmosphere on set as intensely genuine, with no need for artificial tears, as the actors’ real emotions made the scene unforgettable.

‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ starred Shah Rukh Khan as Aman, a man facing terminal illness who falls in love with Naina, played by Preity Zinta. Knowing his limited time, Aman helps Naina bond with her friend Rohit, portrayed by Saif Ali Khan. The story reaches a tragic point during Naina and Rohit’s wedding when Aman succumbs to his illness. The film was both a critical and box-office success, celebrated for its heartfelt narrative and powerful performances.
Kal Ho Naa Ho is set to re-release in theatres on November 15.
