‘Citadel Season 2 ‘begins production with new cast members Michael Trucco, Merle Dandridge, and Rahul Kohli
‘Citadel’ is gearing up for its much-anticipated second season, set to begin production by the end of the year. Ahead of the filming, the series has announced exciting additions to its cast, welcoming Michael Trucco, Merle Dandridge, and Rahul Kohli.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, the stars of ‘Citadel,’ will be joined by these talented actors, bringing fresh dynamics to the thrilling narrative.Merle Dandridge, an award-winning singer and actress born in Japan and raised in Nebraska, joins the cast.Dandridge is renowned for her role as Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies, in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, which recently garnered 24 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
In addition to her television and film work, Dandridge is celebrated for her stage performances, including being the first woman to play Papa Ge in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Once on This Island, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album.
Rahul Kohli, a London-born actor, is best known for his starring role in the CW series iZOMBIE, which enjoyed a successful five-season run. Kohli’s notable performances extend to the horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, Midnight Club, and more.
