China “Rams, Fires Water Cannons” At Philippine Vessel | Beijing Slams “Deliberate” Accident In Sea
The Philippines and Chinese coast guards again came face to face in yet another dangerous collision near a disputed reef in the South China Sea. The Philippines accused Chinese vessels of ramming and using water cannons against its ship on August 25 near a disputed reef. The China Coast Guard (CCG) blamed the Philippines for a collision between a CCG vessel and a Filipino vessel in the South China Sea. China’s coast guard said it rescued Filipino “personnel” who fell overboard after a Philippine vessel collided with one of its ships.
