The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the examination date sheet for Class 10 and 12 students. The CBSE Board Exam 2025 for Class 12 will begin on February 15, 2025, and will conclude on April 4, 2025. According to the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2025 date sheet, the Class 12 Physics exam is scheduled for February 21, 2025. Chapter 1: Electric Charges and Fields
Question 1: State and explain Coulomb’s law in vector form.
Question 2: Define electric flux and state Gauss’s law.
Question 3: Use Gauss’s law to derive the expression for the electric field due to an infinitely long charged wire or charged sheet.
Question 4: Derive the expression for the electric field at a point on the axial line of an electric dipole.
Question 5: Using Gauss’s theorem, derive the expression for the electric field due to a uniformly charged thin spherical shell at a point outside the shell.
Chapter 2: Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance
Question 1: Derive the expression for electric potential due to a point charge.
Question 2: Explain the concept of equipotential surfaces with examples.
Question 3: Derive the expression for the capacitance of a parallel-plate capacitor with a dielectric slab inserted between the plates.
Chapter 3: Current Electricity
Question 1: State and explain Ohm’s law.
Question 2: State Kirchhoff’s laws and solve a circuit using them.

CBSE Board Exam 2025: Preparation tips for Class 12 Physics board exam

Understand the Syllabus: Familiarize yourself with the latest CBSE syllabus, focusing on chapters with higher weightage like Optics, Electrostatics, and Current Electricity. Be aware of topics that have been removed or modified to streamline your preparation.
Organize Study Materials: Use NCERT textbooks and the NCERT Wallah YouTube Channel (Vijeta Series) as your primary resources. Additionally, refer to supplementary guides like SL Arora for extra numerical and keep CBSE sample papers and past years’ question papers handy for practice.
Create a Study Plan: Divide your study time between theory and numerical (e.g., 40% theory, 60% numerical). Make sure to allocate time for daily revisions and mock tests to stay on track and evaluate your progress regularly.
Master the Basics: Ensure a clear understanding of fundamental concepts, formulas, and definitions. Revise key formulas and derivations daily and maintain a formula sheet for quick reference during revision sessions.
Practice Numerical: Solve all solved and unsolved numerical from NCERT, focusing on high-weightage topics like Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Ray and Wave Optics, Magnetic Effects of Current, and Alternating Current. Gradually move to tougher problems from reference books.
