Ananya Panday’s much-anticipated web show Call Me Bae has finally premiered on digital streaming platforms today, September 6. Following the release, Ananya’s rumored boyfriend, Walker Blanco, took to his Instagram stories to show his support, sharing the show’s poster and captioning it with, “Heyy Baeee @ananyapanday.”

Earlier, Ananya’s close friend Sara Ali Khan also praised her performance, calling it her ‘best’ work yet.The show, directed by Collin D’Cunha, features an ensemble cast including Muskkkaan Jaferi, Virdas, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Gurfateh Pirzada, and Niharika Lyra. Call Me Bae marks Ananya Panday’s digital debut, and follows the story of Bella, a young woman from a privileged background whose life takes a dramatic turn, leading her to start anew in Mumbai. The series is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Rumors about Ananya and Walker’s relationship began circulating last month when they were reportedly seen together at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. It was also reported that Walker attended the wedding and a subsequent cruise event in Italy as Ananya’s date, with sightings of them dancing together adding fuel to the speculation. However, there are no confirmed reports whether this is true or not.
Amidst the show’s buzz, Ananya Panday took a break from her busy promotional schedule to celebrate a special family occasion. On September 6, the actress joined her parents, Chunky and Bhavana Pandey, in marking the wedding anniversary of her grandparents.

The photo features Bhavana, Chunky, and Ananya, all gathered to commemorate another year of marital bliss for her cute grandparents. ‘Call Me Bae’ is premiering in 8 episodes, promising to showcase Ananya in a fresh and interesting role. The series is created by Ishita Moitra, and directed by Collin D’Cunha. It revolves around the story of Bae, who upon being downsized from heiress to hustler, discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self.

The series stars Ananya in the lead role, and as said earlier, features an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
