The first trailer for ‘I Am Still‘, the upcoming documentary featuring BTS member Jung Kook, has released online and it promises fans an inside look at the making of his solo album, ‘Golden’.
“I just follow my own compass” reads the tagline of the one-minute teaser, which opens with Jung Kook sharing his challenges of going solo. Unabashedly, the star opens up about his nervousness about stepping out of the BTS spotlight and the pressure of earning recognition on his own.”I’m suddenly nervous, I’ll do my best, guys,” he says in Korean, adding, “Without the power of BTS, just on my own, will I be able to receive recognition?”

Directed by Junsoo Park and produced by Jiwon Yoon, ‘I Am Still’ is set to be released in over 120 countries on September 18, for a limited engagement. Announced on July 11, this highly anticipated film will provide fans with an intimate look into the star’s life and career, covering his journey over the past eight months, including the process of creating his hit single ‘Seven’ to the creation of his debut album, Golden.

Jung Kook discussed the documentary during an episode of Suga’s show Suchwita, revealing, “Yes, I am [filming a documentary]. It follows the process from ‘Seven’ to my album.”
The film offers more than just a behind-the-scenes look; it serves as a testament to Jung Kook’s artistic growth and his deep connection with his global fanbase.
Global ticket sales for ‘I Am Still’ began on August 21, allowing fans worldwide to join Jung Kook on this extraordinary cinematic journey.
