Bigg Boss 17 Fame Abhishek Kumar To Join Laughter Chefs 2

The first season of Laughter Chefs debuted earlier this year was hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
Laughter Chefs, a one-of-a-kind culinary comedy reality show, is set to return with fresh contestants. Following a hit debut season this year, audiences are eager to watch the show back on their screens once again. While several names, like Rubina Dilaik, Elvish Yadav and others as participants on the new season, have been doing rounds, a latest report mentions that Udaariyaan fame Abhishek Kumar is also expected to be one of the contenders.
A report by Times Now quoted a source as saying, “Abhishek is finalised for this season among many other well-known celebrities.” Abhishek has earlier been part of Bigg Boss 17 as well as Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 which aired on Colors TV. Reportedly, Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik and Abdu Rozik are a few celebrities to be seen as participants in the culinary show. Moreover, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has also been approached.
Meanwhile, there has been no official announcement of when Laughter Chefs Season 2 will premiere. According to a Pinkvilla report, it is expected to premiere at the end of January 2025, following the finale of Bigg Boss 18.

The show was hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and famous chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Several Bollywood celebs, including Kangana Ranaut, Shraddha Kapoor and Akshay Kumar, appeared on the comedy show to promote their movie. Laughter Chefs season 1 went off-air in October of this year. The cooking reality show starred Ankita Lokhande, Aly Goni, Rahul Vaidya, Nia Sharma, Jannat Zubair, Karan Kundra, Vicky Jain, Reem Shaikh, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah.
Meanwhile, Abhishek rose to prominence following his appearance in the popular TV serial Udaariyaan, alongside Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, and Isha Malviya. He gained even more recognition after appearing on Bigg Boss 17 and finishing as the first runner-up. Following a number of music videos, Abhishek showcased his daring side in Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Abhishek started his career as a crowd artist in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which starred Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. He appeared in the song “Daingad Daingad”. He danced behind Siddharth Shukla.
