‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ producers reveal meeting ‘Singham Again’ team to avoid box office clash: ‘…they don’t allow rescheduling’ | Hindi Movie News
This Diwali was an unmissable moment for movie lovers as two of the most awaited films, Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3′ and Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Singham Again‘, faced off at the box office. Both films have found their own audience, and now ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ producer Bhushan Kumar has opened up about initial discussions with the makers of ‘Singham Again’ to avoid the box office clash.
Kumar mentioned that the teams behind both films held discussions to seek a resolution. However, due to prior commitments and creative limitations, they couldn’t prevent the clash in the end.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Bhushan explained that both parties recognized the significance of their franchises and attempted to avoid the clash. However, pre-existing commitments made it challenging to avoid the overlap. “For instance, there are pre-commitments with OTT platforms, and they don’t allow rescheduling. We had that majboori, and they had a similar situation,” he clarified.
Bhushan further shared insights into why ‘Singham Again’ held on to the Diwali release, despite a potential clash with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. He explained that the film’s storyline, which draws from the Ramayan, made Diwali a symbolic and essential release date. Although Kumar and the other production team explored ways to avoid the overlap, creative considerations left them with little flexibility. “Now, the loss that a clash brings, we both have to bear, but I am happy that both films are performing well,” he explained.
