The M4 Mac Mini is the next product from Apple to roll out this week and finally the device is living up to its name in a big way. The company is bringing the powerful M4 Pro chipset to the market that is likely to be offered with the new M4 MacBook Pro this year.
The biggest upgrade with the M4 Mac Mini, apart from the hardware, is the compact size, making the Mini as small as the Apple TV. You also get the Apple Intelligence features out of the box thanks to the macOS update.
Apple M4 Mac Mini Price In India
Apple M4 Mac Mini price in India starts from Rs 59,900 for the base 16GB and 256GB storage variant. The price goes up to Rs 1,49,900 if you want the M4 Pro chip variant with 24GB RAM and 512GB storage. The M4 Mac Mini will be available from November 8 in the country.
M4 Mac Mini Features – It’s Small
The first thing you notice about the M4 Mac Mini is the size which now measures at 5×5 inches. It just weighs 670 grams now, while the M4 Pro variant comes at 730 grams.
Even then, having the new M4 chipset means you will never feel short on power, which is now further enhanced with the 16GB base memory. Apple says the M4 Mac Mini can perform 1.8x faster than the M1 variant and having Thunderbolt 5 ports offer faster data transfer speeds as well. The M4 Mac Mini can support up to 64GB memory and 8TB SSD storage based on your needs.
Having the M4 chipset allows the new Mac Mini to run three displays at the same time. For connectivity, the Mac Mini has two USB C ports on the front, along with a headphone jack. At the back, you have a plethora of ports; ethernet, HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 or 5, USB 4, and DisplayPort. The Mini supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 as well.
Getting the new macOS version brings Apple Intelligence from day one to the M4 Mac Mini, opening up the gates for features like writing tools, Siri AI, and more. Going by the size, power and the price tag, this has to be one of Apple’s best launches in recent years for the Indian market.
