Amid Konda Surekha’s controversial claims, Naga Chaitanya attends a puja hosted by a jewellery brand

Indians get together to celebrate Goddess Durga and her nine avatars over 10 days as the colourful Navratri festival begins. Celebrities from the film industry flocked to Kochi for a high-profile puja ritual organized by a jewellery brand to kick off the festivities this year. Attendees included celebrities including Bobby Deol, Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon, Malaika Arora, Shilpa Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol.Naga Chaitanya also made an early appearance representing the South Indian film industry.
Naga Chaitanya’s public appearance came at a time of controversy when Konda Surekha made claims implicating KT Rama Rao and the N-Convention Centre, owned by Nagarjuna. Chaitanya was spotted showing up for the Navratri puja wearing a dazzling cream-coloured kurta with minimalist embroidery and matching churidar pants. He paired his traditional attire with brown leather sandals and black sunglasses, which was a perfect combination of modern and elegant.
In response to Konda Surekha’s allegations, Naga Chaitanya has addressed the ongoing personal disputes. “The decision of divorce is easily one of the most painful and unfortunate life decisions one has to make,” he said, acknowledging the emotional weight of his divorce. Stating, “It was a decision made in peace, owing to our different life goals,” he highlighted that the decision was mutual and made with dignity and respect.
Chaitanya strongly denied Surekha’s accusations, calling them “false, ridiculous, and unacceptable.” He further added, “Women deserve to be supported and respected. Taking advantage and exploiting the personal life decisions of celebrities for the sake of media headlines is shameful.”
Chaitanya’s ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu has also addressed Surekha’s accusations. In an Instagram post, Samantha expressed the problems encountered by women in the industry and defended her divorce as a private, mutual decision, free from political pressure. She asked Surekha not to use her name in any political conflicts, saying, “My divorce is a personal matter, and I request that you refrain from speculating about it.”
Controversy has been generated by Surekha’s assertions that KT Rama Rao was involved in the couple’s divorce. She implied that the breakup resulted from Samantha’s refusal to comply with a political favour. Both Chaitanya and Samantha, however, have firmly denied having any part in it, insisting that their divorce was a peaceful and personal choice.
